KEAG, Jean July 7, 1933 – November 12, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Jean, with loving family by her side, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Wentworth Lodge in Dundas, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late William Houston Keag. Loving mother of Crawford and Noël (Graham). Cherished Granny of Thomas (Sarah), Brandon, Marissa (Nate), Teigan, Raleigh and Keiran; Great-Granny of Brinley, Jaxon, Bentley and Huxley. Dear sister of Sadie, and predeceased by siblings Samuel, William John, Agnes and Dorothy. Jean will be sadly missed by her family and friends in Canada and in Belfast, Northern Ireland. At age 23, Jean, along with her infant son and youngest sister, courageously followed her husband Houston to Canada, leaving her country and family behind. Northern Ireland gave Jean her spirited personality, which she carried throughout her whole life. She was the consummate caretaker and touched the lives of many. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre Inc., 100 King St. E., Dundas, on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 1 p.m., with visitation beginning at noon (additional parking at the Air Force Club).
