KENNETH BURBIDGE Passed peacefully while surrounded by his family, at Hospice Simcoe on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Verda (nee Bowman) for 32 years and of the late Geraldine (nee McKean) for 25 years. Honoured father of Nola Stacey (Ralph) and Pamela Burbidge (James Halley). Cherished grandfather of Skyler, Creighton and William Kenneth and of great- granddaughter Ainslee. Brother of John (Carol), Ron (Nancy) and the late Wayne. Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. Ken retired after a fulfilling career of driving buses for Gray Coach/TTC and later, Cherry Coach Lines. Visitation will be held at the Steckley- Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, April 3rd from 12 p.m. until the time we celebrate Ken’s life in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge.
