KENNETH FJOR EBBESEN November 6, 1930 – June 5, 2017 Ken, our ‘Golden Boy’ of the prairies, born and raised in Rider Nation and a retired 40-year employee of CIBC – was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather (Poppi), colleague and friend. He will be joyfully remembered by the ‘Ebbesen gang’, his wife of 61 years, Bess, 4 daughters, Gayle (Michael), Lori, Kathleen (Kevin) and Barbara (David) and his cherished 4 granddaughters, Karlinna, Paige, Gillian and Hilary. Ken is renowned for his integrity, positive attitude, gift of connecting with people and love for his family and friends. Ken was an avid athlete and sports enthusiast enjoying mostly baseball, hockey, curling, golf and bowling – and the occasional jaunt to the horse races.
