KONRAD ZEH (CORDES) July 21, 1936 – September 1, 2016 We are sad to announce that Konrad passed away at the Ajax-Pickering Hospital on September 1, 2016. He is survived by his adoring wife Teresa (Teri) Cordes, son Mark and granddaughter Samantha. Predeceased by son Brian in 2013. Konrad was a brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, father-in-law, neighbour and friend to many. Konrad was born in Germany and came to Canada in 1953. He was an active resident in the Bay Ridges area in Pickering, Ontario, since the early 1960s and a former member of PESCA, LACAC and United Way Board of Directors. In 2001, he retired from the Printing industry, Typesetter turned Proofreader and became an avid motorcyclist, specifically sidecar motorcycles. He and Teresa enjoyed many adventurous trips in that sidecar and made countless friends on their travels. Konrad was a man you did not forget. He will be remembered as he was in life: unconventional, frugal and practical. And in keeping with that, no formal service will be held. A remembrance celebration will be held on September 17, 2016.
