LANCIA, Romeo It is with great sadness we announce that Romeo peacefully passed away on Thursday September 22, 2016 in his 82nd year at the Pine Villa Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Carmine and Maria Lancia. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Aldo and Carmelina Lancia and Bruno and the late Judy Lancia. Dear uncle of Maria and Lorenzo Lampignano, Carmine and Anna Maria Lancia, John-Paul Lancia, Carmine and Jennifer Lancia, Michael and Kendra Lancia, Brian and Gena Lancia and Tanya and Bryan Zimmerman. Romeo will be sadly missed by the Di Cola and Crosta families, his many cousins and friends in Canada, Italy and Venezuela. Many thanks to Dr. Robert Ambis and the staff at Pine Villa Nursing Home for their loving care. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James St.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Anthony of Padua Church (830 Barton St. E.) on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Foundation or St. Anthony of Padua Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
