LAURENCE “LAURIE” WILLIAM BROOKS Suddenly on July 4, 2016 at the age of 84. Predeceased by far too many friends and family members, Laurie saw the world and lived and loved till the end. His good humour, smooth vocal stylings, silky dance moves, big hugs and corny jokes will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a hard-nosed realist and a hopeless romantic, a loving husband, friend, father and grandfather and an inspiration to us all. He will be remembered by family and friends at a private gathering this Saturday. –
