LEONA ANN SOPHIA MARTHA AMODEO (nee MIERNICKE) On February 26, 1916, a star flashed across the heavens above Windsor, Ontario and the special soul of Leona Sophia Martha Miernicke was born a baby daughter to the Miernickes. Today that bright star is shining in Heaven. Peacefully, in her sleep on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Guelph General Hospital. Leona, in her 101st year, wife of the late Tony Amodeo. Loving mother of Sandy, Mary and her husband Drew and the late Lucia. Loved grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her 2 sisters and 1 brother. Friends will be received at the J.S.
