WHEELER, Leonard G. Promoted to Glory, peacefully at home on Friday, April 14, 2017 surrounded by his loving family Len aged 77 passed away. Loving husband of Joan Wheeler (Rowley) for 20 wonderful years. Loved father of Linda (Mark) Habros, Len Jr. (Christine) Wheeler, Les (Ronda) Wheeler, Laurie (Curtis) Mammolite. Proud Grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Extraordinary stepdad to Joan’s children Laurel Rowley Wayne Rowley and Melissa Rowley-Stolk. Special Grandpa to Alexis and Chase Rowley. He will be missed by brothers Ray Wheeler and Paul (Bonnie) Wheeler and sisters Carol (Don) Plank and Sylvia McIntyre. Also many nieces and nephews. Former husband of Patricia Wheeler. Predeceased by parents Bandmaster Gordon and Ella Wheeler. Len was a retired employee of Group 8 Engineering for over 50 years of dedicated service. Len was an avid golfer, and a school bus driver for Attridge. Thank you to the amazing staff of the Juravinski Hospital. As per Len’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Salvation Army Meadowlands, 187 Stone Church Rd., Ancaster, ON, L9K 0A3.
