LÉONIE CHIASSON 1927 – 2017 Petit-Rocher, NB – Mrs. Léonie Chiasson, wife of the late Ernest Chiasson, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, NB, at the age of 89. Born in Petit-Rocher, NB she was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Anastasie (Doucet) Godin. She worked for Bell Canada for over 40 years in Toronto. She is survived by two brothers: George Godin (Monique) and Jean-Cléo Godin (Michelle) both of Montreal, QC; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Eveline, Henri, Hypolite, Sylvio, Lionel, Rita, Wilbrod, André, Sr. Thérèse, Cécile and Edwidge. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Polycarpe Church, Petit-Rocher, NB, on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 2 p.m. Donations in memory of Léonie may be made to the St. Polycarpe Church or a favourite charity.
