GIARDINO, Leslie Steve Banton and the family of Leslie Giardino are heartbroken to announce her passing on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in her loving home with her family and her life-long partner and best friend, Steve Banton, by her side. She was loved and dearly cared for by her mother and father Margaret (Martini) and Tony Giardino. She was the darling and adored sister of Lucianne (Peter) Belletti, Anthony, Lisa, Lorelei (Dave) DesBarres, Christopher (Angela), Quinto (Sarah). Leslie will be sadly missed by her in laws Keith and Delores Banton and Vivian Banton. Always there for her and Steve; sister-in-law Beverly Banton-Mullings (Gerrard), Nordia Banton (Garnet), Jodi Banton (Wayde), Zeripha Moses (Stephens), Aaron Banton (Tamara), Karima Banton, Andrea Phang, Debbie O’Donnell (Patrick), Ricky Walker (Yuri). She was adored and cherished by nieces and nephews Petey, Daniel (Michelle), Natalie (John), Rachel, Adrianna, Alexandria, Nikola, Elia and Emmeline. She will be truly missed by loving aunts and uncles and many cousins. Embracing her in heaven are her grandparents Quinto and Lucy Martini and Antonio and Concetta Giardino. Leslie had many faithful friends who cherished her and in which she cherished back. Leslie’s resilience, strength, courage, joyful personality, sense of humor and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL 43 Barton St. E. (near James St.) on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Church on Wednesday, March 8th at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
