KELLY (PAYNE), Linda (nee DeZorzi) —
September 5, 1922 – January 11, 2017
Peacefully Linda passed away at Credit Valley Hospital after a 15-year battle with Alzheimer’s. Beloved wife of the late John Kelly (2004) and the late Harry (Bus) Payne (1967). Will be sadly missed by her sons Ross Payne (Anne) and Paul Payne (Donna). She was adored by her grandchildren Laura, Ryan (Kimberley), Todd (Andrea), Mark and the late Amanda (1983), as well as her great-grandsons Luke and Adam. We would like to extend our thanks to the care she had with the staff at Credit Valley Hospital as well as the exceptional care for many years with the staff at Village of Erin Meadows. Linda was a woman with zest in the way she approached life with music and laughter. Friends may call at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (2 lights south of Eglinton, off of Dixie), 905-602-1580 on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W., Mississauga on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave., Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
