VOLPINI, Lorenzo “Tony” Peacefully after a lengthy illness Tony passed away on March 22, 2017 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Giovanna for 41 years. Loving father of Joey, Ulisse, Alessio and Nonno of Desiree and Selena. Dearly missed by his brother Peter (Shirley) niece Kimberly (Adam), nephew Peter Jr. (Bridgette) as well as his family and friends in Italy and Canada. Tony was a retired employee of Stelco with over 40 years of service. He was passionate about tending his garden, watching sports and most of all his family. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
