Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle at Juravinski Hospital on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the age of 59. Beloved daughter of Bruno and Anna (nee Pauletto) Luison. Loving wife of 38 years of Phil Bozzelli. Much loved mother and best friend of Kristina Mazzuca (Roberto), Nadia Caucci (Johnny) and Elisa Botelho (Ryan). Cherished Nonna of Benito Mazzuca, Valentina Mazzuca and Leonardo Caucci. Luciana will be dearly missed by her brother John and sister-in-law Norma Luison. Survived by her sister Marisa Luison. Dear daughter-in-law of Concetta and the late Guido Bozzelli, sister-in-law of Dominic Bozzelli (Lisa), Maria Ruberto (Tony) and Anna Ricciotti (Rob).
Luciana will be fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers. Luciana was a retired branch manager of CIBC with over 30 years of service within Hamilton and the surrounding area. Her dedicated, professional and charismatic service will be missed greatly by the many clients and staff members whom she assisted throughout the years. Special thank you to Dr. Bernardini of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Dr. Hirte and the nurses and staff of C3 Oncology at Juravinski Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion. Also a special thank you to Father David Avila of St. Mary’s Parish. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 3-9p.m. and Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 3-9p.m. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time. Due to the current restrictions, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Margaret Mary Parish, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11a.m. For those unable to attend but who wish to view the Mass via live stream, may do so through the Saint Margaret Mary Parish, Hamilton, YouTube channel.
