SMITH, Lucille Rose —

In her 100th year, Lucille died peacefully, at William Osler Health Centre, Brampton, on May 31, 2017. She was a loyal and loving companion of George A. Smith for 47 years, until his death 19 years ago. She is survived by her son Shane Smith, former daughter-in-law Teresa Smith, and their children Jeremy, Alyssa and Jeannine Smith, whom she dearly loved. She was known by all as a gracious lady, and a caring, giving friend. She touched many people’s lives in her 100 years, and will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington Aves.), on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from noon, until the time of a Celebration of Life Service, in the Chapel, at 1 p.m. Interment will be on Monday, at Park Lawn Cemetery, at noon. For those who wish, donations may be made to The Lung Association, or a charity of your choice.
