GIRARDO, Luigi Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on August 2, 2017 at the age of 93. Loving husband of Elide for 62 years. Dear father of Mario and his wife Luisa, and Angela. Nonno of Lara, Francesca and Katia. Luigi will be fondly remembered by his family and friends, both in Italy and Canada. Guests will be received at the Glendale Funeral Home, 1810 Albion Rd., Etobicoke, 416-679-1803, on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. from St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, 2547 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke. Private cremation. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
