MARCLAWRENCE

MARC LAWRENCE With incredible sadness we announce the death of Marc Lawrence in Toronto on June 3, 2017. Born in Tunbridge Wells, UK and formerly of London, ON, Marc was pure energy and passion and left a lasting impression on literally everyone he met. He enjoyed a successful career in advertising sales driven by talent, charisma and pure determination. So many things in life interested Marc. He dove head first into full immersion of so many loves and appreciations including: music, food and wine, tennis, golf and comedy, to name just a few. There are “people persons” and then there was Marc who operated at an exhaustive level of giving himself to his clients, friends, family and their broader groups. In Marc’s case, it is completely fitting to say that his character was larger than life. What he succeeded most at, and will always be remembered for, was his giving soul and openness to help those around him. He was loved by so many. Marc was most proud of his daughter Bailey Lawrence. She was constantly in his heart and thoughts even when distance got in the way. He will always be lovingly remembered by his mother Ute Lawrence and step-father Stan Fisher, who loved Marc with all his heart. Memories of him will be forever cherished by his sister Natalie (D.J. Williams), Adrienne (Jeff van Haeren) and Erik (Danett Fisher). Marc will be missed by his father Noel Lawrence (Winnie) and his half brother David (Brittany). He will also be fondly remembered by Bailey’s mother Tara Menzies. Marc touched so many people, with him gone, we have all lost a bit of ourselves. While his life ended too early, he lived more of a life than most will ever dream of and for that he will be celebrated by his family, friends and colleagues. A gathering for family and friends will be held to celebrate a life well lived and to honour the infectious complexity that defined Marc Lawrence. Please join us on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 12 – 3 p.m. at the London Hunt and Country Club, 1431 Oxford St. W., London, ON, to celebrate how Marc touched us all. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the PTSD Association of Canada in Marc’s memory would be appreciated. ptsdassociation.com/take-action www.HarrisFuneralHome.ca
