Margaret Elizabeth MATTINA
MATTINA, Margaret Elizabeth October 26, 1948 – July 1, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of Margaret Elizabeth Mattina. She will be met in heaven by her daughter Nicall Lise Mattina who left us too soon. Margaret was predeceased by her parents George and Irene Proctor and sister Irene. Margaret leaves behind her loving husband of 40 years Nick, her son Justin and daughter-in-law Tina, granddaughters Natalie and Olivia and constant companion dog Rudy. Margaret was very proud of her family and her greatest joy was spending time with her loving granddaughters who adored their “Gaga”. Throughout her life Margaret showed great strength, determination and courage as she lived with the pain resulting from a rare bone disease. She will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law Rosalie and her husband Bill, as well as her special niece Jessica and husband Adam. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews and many friends who will miss her kind and caring ways. Visitation will take place at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME “William J. Markey Chapel”, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held in the William J. Markey Chapel at Bay Gardens on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Michelangelo Banquet Centre, 1555 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton.
