TAPLEY, Margaret Grace Peacefully passed on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Bough Beeches Retirement Home, in Mississauga. Margaret Grace Tapley was born December 19, 1927 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The daughter of Albert and Grace Cassells, predeceased by her sister Pamela. Married to the love of her life John “Jack” Tapley in 1948 until his passing in 1989. Beloved Mother to her five boys: Daniel (Irene), Bruce (Mairi) Glenn (Sandra), Ronald (Magda) and Timothy (Norah). Loving grandmother to Drew (Jackie), Cale (Candace) Sarah, Deana (Kevin), Ryan, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Michael, Nicole (Charles), Meghan and Shelby Jacs. A proud great-grandmother to Chloe, Katie-Leigh, Gracie-Lynn, Allie-Rae, Jack, Daniel, Sophia, Charlie and Harrison. Marg loved her family; especially “her boys”. She enjoyed playing bridge with her girlfriends, her Friday movie nights as well as travelling abroad and local group excursions. She kept a beautiful home and truly enjoyed hosting family events, setting up her dining room table and entertaining in her backyard oasis in the spirit of “sans sousi”. She was a deeply committed and live-long member of Alderwood United Church and its surrounding community. Take peace to yourself, Mom. We will love you forever and say “hi” to Dad in Heaven.
