Margaret Irene PATERSON
PATERSON, Margaret Irene (nee Beamsley) Died peacefully on November 20, 2016, at the age of 93. Irene dedicated her life to her family and to the service of others. She spent her years putting smiles on people’s faces. Irene consistently put others ahead of herself and was the first to celebrate their successes. Family and friends in Cobourg and Ancaster will remember Irene for her bridge prowess and for her astute critique of a salmon entrée! Much loved by daughter Susan and son-in-law Stephen Collins, and grandson Ted (Tori). Survived by sister Peggy Tucker, niece Patti Beamsley, and sister-in-law Nan Beamsley. Predeceased by husband David (2001), sister Betty, and brother Bud. Special thanks to the 8th floor rehab nurses at St. Joseph’s Healthcare.
