MEDEIROS, Margarida With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margarida on August 21, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jose Maria. Loving mother to Maria (Charlie) Roque and Jose Medeiros (Doretta). Cherished grandmother of Karen (Hugo) Rocha, Kristine (Adam) Wiechnik, Dan and Jay Medeiros. Predeceased by grandsons Dennis Roque and Michael Medeiros. Caring great-grandmother to Tia and Haillie Wiechnik, and Sarina and Alyssa Rocha. She will be sadly missed by her sister Teresa Costa. Predeceased by her siblings, Laurinda, Maria, Jose and Manuel. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at the Hamilton General Hospital, VON nurse Victor and Father Heinner Paucar of St. Lawrence Parish for their care and compassion. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James) on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Lawrence Church, 475 Mary St., on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 254 Garner Rd.
