WILLNATH, Maria (nee Schubert) Forever reunited with her loving husband, Maria passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness in the comfort of her home at the Village of Tansley Woods on Monday, April 3, 2017, in her 91st year. Maria will be deeply missed by her sister, Liska Thoma (Georg 1997), her niece Bettina Schmid (Klaus) and their daughters Verena and Evelyn, her niece Sabine Thoma-Gindele (Georg) and their daughters Sophie, Franziska and Anna. Predeceased by her husband Arnold (2012), parents, Johann (1980) and Maria Schubert (nee Kuehn, 1963), sister Eva Schubert (1936) and brother Franz Schubert (1988). Maria’s smile lit up every room and brightened the lives of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her friend, Claudia Thum. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Village of Tansley Woods, for their exceptional care and compassion. In accordance with her wishes, a private family service has taken place.
