HONEY, Marlene Jane Mother – Teacher – Confidant Marlene Honey passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving son Christopher and devoted partner Jack, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on July 19, 2017. Born to William Arthur and Jessie Violet Honey in April 1941, she attended Albert College and became a teacher in York Region, touching the lives of many students. She is survived by her son Christopher, born 1971, his most loving father, Robert Berberick and her dear love, Jack Matheson who has been her friend, partner and caregiver for the last number of years. She will be missed dearly. Visitation will take place at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S., Bolton, ON on Monday, July 31st, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, August 1st from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel on August 1st.
