Mary Ann (Maria) HAINEY

In her 81st, year, during the wee hours of Tuesday, July 12, 2016, passed away in her home surrounded by family.
Beloved wife of John Hainey, husband of 61 years. Loving mother to Colin (predeceased), Mary Ann, Isabel (Art), John (Tammy) and Michael. Adored grandmother of Taylor, Emily, Colin, Patrick, Isabella, Mackenzie and Michelle. Predeceased by parents Mary Ann McGaffney, George Doolan and brother Tom. Survived by brothers James (Linda), John (Maureen), George (Betty) and Lawrence (Rosemary) Doolan, brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert (Jeanette), Susan (Harold – predeceased), Colin (Joyce), Linda (Andy), Lawrence (Sheila), Ronald (Jane). She will be sorely missed by a “clan” of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews scattered across the globe. She was adored by everyone who knew her, a great heart, a kind word for all – our hearts are breaking. There is a new star in the heavens today – she will shine on.
Visitation will take place at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, ON M1E 2S2 on Monday, July 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 21 Markanna Dr., Scarborough. ON M1M 2H9 on Tuesday, July 19 at 11 a.m.
