SECOR, Mary Eileen Sept. 17, 1921 – Sept. 12, 2017 It is with great sadness and much love that her family announce the passing of Mary Secor. Mary was born and grew up in Croydon, England. In 1942 she met and fell in love with a Canadian soldier, Robbie. As a war bride she traveled to Canada to begin her new life. Together they had a rich life filled with many rewarding experiences including square dancing, euchre parties, church activities and world travel. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robbie (2000). Dearly missed by her daughters Jennifer Robson (George), and Pam Knowles, and her son David Secor. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Andrew Robson (Kim), Alex Robson (Hilary), Amy Robson (Chris Haworth), Scott Knowles (Jara), Mark Knowles (Amanda), Emerson Secor (Kerrie), Mercedes Secor (Mike) and her 14 great-grandchildren. Loved and remembered for her spirit, and positive attitude in life. A warm thank you to the staff at the Willowgrove, especially the wonderful staff of Scenic Woods who provided needed care with kindness, compassion and humour. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Church of the Nativity would be appreciated.
