WALTER, Matthias After a brief illness, Matthias passed away peacefully on June 26, 2017 at the age of 88. Loving brother of Joseph and Maria (Josef). Much-loved uncle of JoAnne (Robert), Christine (Daniel), Benno (Yvonne) and Ewald (Ina). Matthias will be missed by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends and family will be received for a Memorial Reception at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ontario Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
