LITTLE, May (nee Paterson) May was a fine Christian woman who celebrated her 100th birthday on February 21st and peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, March 3, 2017. May was born in Portobello, Scotland and moved to Canada as a young girl growing up in Toronto with her brothers Charlie and Tom and sister Fay. May met the love of her life Jack Little (John A.) in Toronto and they made Hamilton their home where they raised their family, daughter Maureen Bacic (Davor), son Ken (Wanda) and son Doug (Brenda). May inspired and will be greatly missed by all of her grandchildren Richard, Rebecca and Malcom, Vanessa and Erik, Andrea, Jenna and Daina. She will also be sadly missed by her many great-grandchildren. May was very active volunteering for many organizations including being a founding member of the Hamilton Council of Women travelling and meeting many dignitaries along her journey. She was a champion lawn and carpet bowler, enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting and playing bridge. May was passionate about travelling and loved spending time with her family. The family is very grateful for the loving care May received by all the staff on Maple Lane at Wentworth Lodge in Dundas. May’s amazing life will be celebrated at a private family gathering.
