SETTER, Merrill George It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Merrill in his 87th year, on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Centre in Hamilton, surrounded by family. Beloved husband to Marie (Stimson) married 65 years. Father of Vincent (Suzanne) and Warren (Christine). Loving Papa to Jordan, Justin, Simone, Cassaundra and Vincent Jr. Cherished brother to Earl (Dorothy) of Guelph. Merrill will be warmly remembered by friends in the Tire and Automotive industry throughout southern Ontario and by all of the family and friends that gathered at the numerous get-togethers and wonderful parties Merrill and Marie hosted at the family home in Burlington. Merrill was one of the most generous people the world has ever known. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him but never forgotten by all who loved him. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of the Doctors and Nurses at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Centre. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Canadian Alzheimer Society.
