BARNES, Michael Albert With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Albert Barnes in his 48th year on Friday, February 24, 2017. Michael was an avid fisherman, a great lacrosse player and he enjoyed hockey and the casino. He was a warm loving, caring man with a big heart and a great sense of humour. Beloved son of Bernita Burnham and the late Ronald A. Barnes. Survived by siblings William, Christine (John), Beverly, Sandra (Tony) and sister Donna (Craig). Loved by niece Michelle and great-nieces Phoenix, Felicity and Mualiyah. Along with nephew Ryker and great-nephews, Cody and Drake. Loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be resting at his sister’s house at 3304 River Range Rd., Six Nations after 6 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Service and burial will be held at Lower Cayuga Longhouse, Six Nations on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke foundation.
