SOMMERVILLE, Michael Barton Mike Sommerville died peacefully September 22, 2017, following a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by sons Bart (Alison) and Ryan, sister Judy Karg (Joe), brother Bob (Linda), grandson Thomas, 5 nephews and 2 nieces. Mike was raised in Woodbridge, attended St. Andrew’s College and graduated from Bishop’s University. He spent his early career years in Bermuda returning to Toronto in the mid 1990s. His interests were ballroom dancing, bridge, sports, gardening and long walks with his dogs on the Niagara Escarpment. Mike was a good neighbour to many residents of Campbellville. His journey through life attracted many close friends. A private family ceremony will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, October 21st, to be followed by a memorial service in the chapel at St. Andrew’s College (15800 Yonge Street, Aurora) at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend the memorial service.
