HEANEY, MICHAEL JOHN November 29, 1936 – July 19, 2017 In his 81st year Michael passed away surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Kathleen for 56 years. Loving father to the late Catherine, Damien, Geraldine (John), Michael (Jennifer) and Colleen. Devoted Grandpa to Logan, Shannon, Patrick and Liam. Predeceased by his parents James and Ellie, siblings Mary, Gerald, Seamus and Joe. Survived by Desie, Eilish and Dermot. Cherished by many nieces and nephews. Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends here and abroad. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie for all the care they provided.
