Michael Joseph “Mike” MAKAGON
Passed peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Milton District Hospital, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Jennifer Makagon, nee Maxted of Campbellville, Ontario. Much loved father of Dawn-Michelle Makagon (Jonathon Massey) and Stefanie Makagon (Brian Cook). Mike was a graduate of McMaster University in Philosophy and Economics, skills he continued to use throughout his personal and professional life. He founded Maksteel Service Centre (Torbram Rd., Brampton) in 1970 which continues to operate today. In his retirement years Mike enjoyed country life at Twinbrooks Farm. A funeral service and reception will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00 noon from the chapel of J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME, 21 James Street, Milton (905-878-2669). Visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
