Mick worked as a foreman at Stelco and after retirement, Mick returned to farming on a 25 acre hobby farm with horses, chickens, cats and dogs. He was made a Life Member of the Ancaster Agricultural Society. The farm was the center of family life for the extended Margetts family. All the grandchildren have grown up spending countless happy days on “Dubda’s farm” where Mick could usually be found taking care of the horses, rebuilding an engine or teaching a grandchild to drive a tractor. Mick was always kind and generous. He will be remembered as a true gentleman. He will be immensely missed by friends and family. A special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s and St. Peter’s Hospitals for their compassionate care.
