MARTINAC, Milan Peacefully passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on April 26, 2017 in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Zora (nee Jakovcich) for 67 years. Loving father of Brian (Mary) and Dawn. Adored grampa of David and Jessica. Predeceased by his brothers Petar, Ivan, Mate and his sisters Manda, Matija, Marija and Andja. Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, family and friends in Canada, Croatia, Australia and New Zealand. Milan was retired from Dominion Glass after 34 years, longtime member of Croatian National Home and CFU Lodge 644. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of 7 South at the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church (Barton and Nash) on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 9 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
