Antonio “Tony” MOTA
MOTA, Antonio “Tony” January 4, 1950 – July 8, 2016 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tony. Tony passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Friday, July 8th, in his 67th year, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Natalia (Marianne) for 42 years. Greatest father to Jaime and Stacy Mota and Julie and Michael Capretta. There was nothing Tony enjoyed more than being Avo to Alice, Olivia and Audrey; cherishing all the times they spent together. Loving and devoted son of Evangelina and the late Antonio Mota. Tony was the best son-in-law to the late Jaime and Alice Carvalho. Adored brother of John Manuel and Filomena Mota, Danny and Diane Mota, Giselda Viveiros and Albert Mota. Tony will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews; John Jr., Andrea and Frank (Diamantina and Luca), Charles, Sara and Rachael. Tony touched the lives of many friends and extended family; always willing to help in any way he could. His sense of humour and character will be remembered and treasured by all who knew him. Throughout his illness, Tony fought with dignity and determination; never losing faith or hope. His love for life and the people around him gave him great strength.
