MURIEL (LAMB) SMITH Sailed over the horizon for the last time suddenly on August 15, 2016 in Mississauga after a lengthy illness. Beloved mother of Larry (Janet) and Steve. Adoring grandma to Dylan and Aimee. Muriel is survived by cousins in Scotland, England and Australia. Muriel was the daughter of Jack (1959) and Florence (1975) and step- daughter of Alex Seaton. She emigrated from England in 1953. One of the great joys of Muriel’s life was sailing. She taught sailing, delivered boats and had sailed over 135,000 blue water miles. She was a member of the Port Credit Yacht Club for over 25 years. At Muriel’s request cremation has taken place, the family asks that you join them in celebrating Muriel’s life at the Port Credit Yacht Club on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice or Dying With Dignity. “I must go down to the sea again”.
