SABATINI, Nicola – Aged 90 years, resident of Scarborough, Ontario, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Scarborough General Hospital. Born in Villa Santa Maria, in the region of Abruzzi, Italy on February 24, 1926 and arrived in Canada in 1952. Nicola was an accomplished professional in the hotel and restaurant industry as Maitre D’ and Manager at the Royal York, Harbour Castle and Guild Inn. Nicola will be dearly missed by his wife of 61 years, Eleonora Sabatini, daughters Sabrina (Paul) Wilson and Giselle, son Tony (Jennifer) and all family and friends. Nicola was proud grandfather to Stefan, Victoria, Kyle, Nicholas and Valerie. Services will be held at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home located at 2900 Kingston Road. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Thursday, June 23rd at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel.
