NICOLA VARRIANO May 1, 1932 – April 8, 2017 Vinchiaturo, Campobasso, Italy. The 4th in a family of 9 siblings. He was the quiet one, but with a dry, quick sense of humour. He brought with him from La Valle, a tireless work ethic. Of his many talents he was an expert carpenter; to a 16th of an inch, an electrician and general handyman. An avid gardener, his vegetable garden was the envy of the neighbourhood. We will all dearly miss his mischievous smile and the twinkle in his eyes. Nicola was predeceased by brothers Pasquale and Gildo and sister Addolorata and is survived by Michele, Aldo, Antonio, Osvaldo and Rita. The family will receive friends at the HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC FUNERAL HOME, 211 Langstaff Rd. E. (west of Bayview Ave.), on Monday, April 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Christian Mass will take place at the funeral home within the Chapel of St. Joseph on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
