NORMA ESTELLE ANDERSON (née PIETERSEN) Passed away peacefully on July 19, 2016 in her 77th year after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Devoted wife of 54 years to Arthur John Anderson, loving mother to Greg (Usha) Anderson and Melanie (Paul) Shuebrook. Exceptional Granny to Maya and Kiran Anderson. Loving auntie to Glenda Whiteman, Beverly Mihajlovic, Leslie Whiteman, Karen Barrett and Richard, Michael and Lynn Anderson. Predeceased by sister Verna Whiteman, sister- in-law Mary Moens and nephew Kevin Pietersen. Survived by her brother Desmond Pietersen and sister Yvonne Ransbury. Kindhearted sister-in-law to Norman Whiteman, Amy Pietersen, Wilf Ransbury and Bill Anderson. Norma’s sharp wit, high principles and loving nature will be fondly remembered by family and dear friends on Saturday, July 23rd. Visitation (11 a.m.), ceremony (12 noon) and reception will take place at Marshall Funeral Home (10366 Yonge St., Richmond Hill). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of York Region would be appreciated by the family.
