Carmen Giulio PALMIERI
PALMIERI, Carmen Giulio Peacefully and surrounded by his family, the Lord called Giulio to begin his journey into Heaven on July 3, 2016 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Antonietta for 48 years. Cherished father to Patricia (Vince) Riviglia, and Richard (Rose). Proud Nonno to Madalaine, Noah, Nicholas, and Isaiah. Loving brother and brother-in-law to the late Nicholina (the late Vincenzo), Maria (the late Francesco), the late Libero (Maria), Gemma (Frank), the late Domenic, and Clara (Oscar). Predeceased by his parents Ricardo and Petronilla and in-laws Salvatore and Giusepina Bartolotta. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Giulio was a proud retiree of Stelco/Steelwire after 36 years of service. Special thanks to St. Elizabeth’s Home Care, Juravinski Hospital, and Dr. Puglia for all their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 1694 Upper James Street on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 9:45 – 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow in the church at 10:30 a.m. In keeping with Giulio’s wishes, cremation will follow.
