STROUD, Patricia —
It is with great sorrow that the family of Patricia Ellen Stroud (nee Piper) of Toronto, Ontario, give news of her passing into the arms of our Lord, January 27, 2017. Patricia was a type one diabetic, diagnosed as such at the age of 17. She always fought a valiant fight against her disease all her life. The illness finally took her life, at the age of 79. She will be sadly missed by her husband Gordon E. Stroud of 52 years of marriage, her daughter Kathleen Linda Louise Clinch, husband Colin and grandson Ethan Clinch and her close sister Cindy Bailey and Brian, nephews, nieces and all her loving friends in Toronto, Thunder Bay and Old Bridge Village, Florida. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Kathleen and Allan Piper and sister Linda Plater Sumner.
A service will be held from Armour Heights Presbyterian Church, 105 Wilson Ave., Toronto, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday February 1, 2017.
Patricia was born in Fort William and will be interred in the family plot next summer, in Thunder Bay, followed by a celebration of life
