PAUL EDWARD HILL Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 15, 2016 in his 80th year. Father to Lisa (Dany) and Krista (Linda). Proud grandfather to Mohamad, Danya, Zain, Hannah, Grace and Christian. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Dorothy and by his sister Carol. Will be missed by his former spouse Paula, his siblings Linda (Ken), Bob (Joanne), Sue (Paul) and Pat (Derrek) and his many nieces and nephews. Deepest thanks to Virgilia Paurillo for her love and care through his illness, and to his doctors at Sunnybrook, in particular Dr. Calvin Law and Dr. Yoo-Joung Ko, for their exceptional care and treatment. Paul had a deep interest in World War II history and enjoyed many trips to England and the Normandy beaches. Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, October 18th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral on Wednesday, October 19th at 11 a.m. at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation are welcome.
