MAURICE, Dr. Philip Brian (Phil) Passed away in California on April 17, 2017. Phil was born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1945 and grew up in Burlington. He earned a B.Sc. at McMaster University in 1968 and an M.D. in 1972, a member of the inaugural class of the McMaster University School of Medicine. Dr. Maurice moved his family to California to complete his residency in neurology. Practicing in California until his death, he was a dedicated physician who earned the respect of colleagues and patients. Phil was a very proud father and grandfather. He will be lovingly remembered by Linda Maurice and their daughters Tara (Greg) of New York, Darcie (Christopher) of California and Whitney of Toronto, his grandchildren Piper, Roan and Ava, and his sister Andrea of Toronto. He was pre- deceased by his parents Philip and Georgette and his sister Jennifer.
