MATTUCCI, Philip John Phil was born on April 27, 1957; the world was made better for it. He lived, loved and grilled as much as he could and was happiest when sharing these moments. He made his way to heaven surrounded by those who loved him at Toronto General Hospital on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the age of 60. Cherished soulmate to Anna. Adored Father to Rocco and Annamarie. Loving Son of Rocco and the late Anna Mattucci, and brother to the late Mary Ann and Janet Mattucci. Loving son-in-law to Annita and the late Giuseppe Natale. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 1 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9 and Thursday, August 10. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday, August 11 starting at 9:30 a.m. The Final Rite of Committal and Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill).
