BRYANS, PHYLLIS JUNE (nee BROWNSON) January 28, 1932 – July 4, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis (Phyl) on July 4, 2017. Dearest daughter of the late Philip and Lillie Brownson, beloved wife of Lorne for 65 years and cherished mother of Heather (Carolyn), Phyl will be deeply missed. Remembered for her strong and independent spirit and her passion for cooking, sewing and gardening, Phyl will be forever in our hearts. A very special thanks to Carol and Marina on the 8th floor and to all the staff of the Supportive Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, who cared for Phyl with the greatest of skill and compassion. Visitation will be held at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby, 905-443-3376, on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10 a.m., followed by a reception.
