RADKO, Helen N. (nee Miller) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Radko on August 31, 2016, at Idlewyld Manor in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Walter Radko. Loving mother of Patricia Aylen, Edward Radko (Mackie), Kathy Balsdon, and Tim Radko. Dear grandmother of Michael Aylen, Sherrilynn Chisholm, Vince Radko, Kate and Sara Kulcheski, and Luke Radko. Great-grandchildren Connor, and Abby Chisholm and Jake and Samantha Fjeld. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Nellie Miller, her daughter-in-law Gail, her grandson David Aylen and her brothers and sisters Martha, Mary, Peter, Bill, Tillie, Millie, Elsie and Harry. Helen was a long time parishioner of St. Eugene’s Parish and was a member of the CWL for 50 years where she enjoyed playing cards especially euchre at St. Eugene’s, St. David’s and St. Paul’s groups. Helen enjoyed her loving family and visiting with friends. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1919 King Street East, on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 7 at 1:30 p.m. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
