RAYMOND JOSEPH CHRISTOPHER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, Dad and Papa, peacefully at Bowmanville Hospital on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Ray is survived by his wife Karen and sons, Neal (Monique) and Darren (Cristin); grandson Marco, his pride and joy; one step- granddaughter Milanna; three sisters Theresa Sheppard; Irene McBride and Margaret Swift (Murray); sisters-in-law Dianne Toope, Berdina Ford (Ray); brothers-in-law Wayne Toope (Teresa); Randy Toope (Della); Keith Toope (Karen) and Ernest Toope (Diane); many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to our dear and loving friend, Linda Henderson and to Drs. Susan Shepherd and Leon Irish and to the VHA Home Palliative Team, Nurses Erin, Lynn and Sherry for their care and support. A private family service will be held Thursday, February 9th (1:30 p.m.) at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, located at 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill. A celebration of Ray’s life, for his many friends and family included, will be held Sunday, February 12th (2 p.m.) at Baxter Creek Golf Club, 1702 Cedar Valley Road, Fraserville, Ontario.
