GORDON, Ree Passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Center on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Yvonne Ree and devoted father to Gary, Brian (Karen), Steven (Gail) and David (Kelly). Survived by his sister Nancy. Loved grandfather to Aaron (Amy), Amanda (Matt), Daniel, Dale, Ryan, Brandon, Chantelle, Catlen (Sam), Blake and Alyssa. Gord was a great-grandfather to Nathan, Emma, Hailey, Max, Payton, Lucas and McKenna. Gord will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Dale and Sarah, Eleanor and Lorne, Carolyn and Paul and Carol and Mary. Gord will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews from the Rees, Flynns, Phillips, Sampsons and Scotts families. Gord will be dearly missed by many friends of the neighborhood over the years who have enjoyed his company during backyard visits. Gord dedicated much of his free time to helping others including Meals on Wheels and Dufferin County Community Services. Being an animal lover, Gord would appreciate, in lieu of flowers, charitable donations be made to Orangeville SPCA. Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville, on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
