RESTIVO, Augustino “Gus” It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Augustino on August 23, 2016 at the age of 79. Loving father of Marc and Marisa Restivo and cherished Nonno to Desiree, Lucas and Felicia. Survived by former wife and friend Ann Marie DePaulo. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Filomena Restivo. Brother and brother-in-law to the late Paulina and Philip DeFilippo, Harry and Betty Restivo, the late Sam and Vera Restivo, the late Charlie Restivo, Jenny and the late Les Koaches, Ann and the late Mike Prodeus, Mary and Alex Buist, Louise and Larry Pyrke, Rose and the late Tim Freel, Joe and Lorretta Restivo and Helen and Joe Ferraro. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and sadly missed by Ingrid, Jim, Brandon and Dylan Betteridge and by all the Mercanti family. Gus will always be remembered as the friendly smiling face of Roma Bakery where he worked for over 60 years. We would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to us during this challenging time by the Difillippio and Ferraro families. Special thanks to Dr. Leggett, Dr. Fraser, and the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic and to all the wonderful staff at St. Peter’s Hospital. As per Gus’s wishes there will be no memorial service. Cremation has taken place. Any donation can be made to the charity of your choice.
