DEJONG, Reverend Dr. Jacobus “Jack” Peacefully at Shalom Manor, Grimsby on Saturday, April 15, 2017, following a lengthy illness, the Lord called to himself Jack DeJong in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Smeding) for 36 years. Loved father of Joanna and Ryan VanHof, David and Crystal, Tim and Biz, Esther and Greg VanMiddelkoop, Nathan and Amber, Carina and Jon Kamstra, and Brendan. Dr. Jack DeJong served the church as pastor of congregations in London and Burlington from 1978-1990 and as professor at the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary in Hamilton from 1990-2003.
