Passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at home at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Judy for 42 years. Loving father of Dana and Sean. Dear brother of Marlene Kowal and brother-in-law of Nancy Forsyth and their families. Rick was a dedicated Police Officer with Toronto Police for 33 years. He was a gentle soul who always put others first and his big heart will be missed by everyone. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
